At Lancaster NeuroScience & Spine Associates, patients benefit from a team of board-eligible or board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeons with more than a hundred years combined experience. Among them are the Chiefs of Neurosurgery of Lancaster General Hospital and Lancaster Regional Medical Center and the Co-Director of the Lancaster General Gamma Knife Center.
They provide the surgical and non-surgical management for disorders of the nervous system — the brain, spine, spinal cord and spinal nerves. They are dedicated to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, critical care and rehabilitation. They are called upon frequently by family practitioners, emergency room physicians, internists, rheumatologists and other specialists for consultation.
Our practice is well known for its conservative approach to medicine. If our neurosurgeons feel that your condition can be successfully treated with medication, physical therapy or home exercise, those options are what they will recommend. Surgery is reserved only for those who cannot be helped though medication or therapy.
